Uber App in Lebanon

We think this transportation app in Beirut is just amazing. It’s like having your own personal chauffeur in a few minutes or even seconds without the hassle of calling to explain where you are. They did have a bit of a run-in with local taxi drivers last year, but I guess it’s sorted out now because they are up and running with regular operations. Uber operates in over 300 cities, and you can use it wherever you are in the world from the same account.

Download the application onto your iPhone or Android phone.
Whenever you’re ready, just request your ride and it will show you how long your driver will need to pick you up.

First, tap to set your pickup location on the map by using the GPS.
Request your ride and a driver will accept.
Enter the address or name of your destination.
After pickup, the application shows the driver where you’re going and it will show you the route and ETA.

You can also find out roughly how much your fare will cost before you reach your destination, so you won’t be surprised when your receipt is emailed to you.

Every ridesharing and livery driver is thoroughly screened through a process that includes background checks throughout their time driving with Uber.

Fares are automatically charged to the rider’s credit card, so drivers can avoid the risk and hassle of carrying cash and making change. It also decreases the risk of being robbed since both rider and driver assume the other is not carrying cash!
If you’re riding with another Uber user, you also have the option to split the fare between both of you.

I think this is very important in the world we live in today and it makes life so much easier, and a great way to get around Beirut.

Quick, easy, and in style.
